The Assumption of Virgin Mary Church
Built in 1860 on the ruins of an earlier building. In this temple citizens of Kavarna for the first time listen to a sermon in Bulgarian. Today the church is completely restored.
Church Saint George
It’s the oldest preserved Renaissance building in the city. Its architecture and valuable icons define it as a unique monument of culture. Initially, it serves in Greek, while a Greek school operates in the courtyard.
The old warehouses
Six of the old warehouses in the port of Kavarna are declared architectural monuments of culture from the Renaissance. The complex is built by solid pieces of stone blocks, some of which are taken from the fortress of Cape Chirakman.
